Dates May 30-June 3 June 13-June 17 June 27-July 1 July 11- July 15 July 25- July 29 Summer Camp: This is a five day camp from 9-2. There will be five weeks scheduled depending on demand. The kids get an hour riding lesson and an hour ground lesson in the morning. In the afternoon they get to do barn chores and an arts and craft activity that is horse related. One afternoon they will go on a short trail ride. On the last day of the camp the parents are welcome to come and see their kids ride in the afternoon. There are four sessions scheduled depending on availability. Reservations are first come first serve, so please have a second week in mind in case your first choice is full. There are multiple camp discounts and multiple child discounts. There is $50 non-refundable deposit required for this camp. Please email us for the registration papers. Spring Break Camp: This is a three day camp from 9-2. The kids get an hour riding lesson and an hour ground lesson in the morning. There are three dates for this camp. The kids will get an hour riding lesson and an hour ground lesson in the morning. In the afternoon they get to do barn chores and an arts craft that is horse related. If time allows they may go on a short trail ride. We will play games, ride bareback and have as much fun as we possibly can in one day. First come first serve.
All camp participants will receive a free GrayStone Stable t-shirt. The age range for all camps are 5-15 and all classes are based on experience first then by age. After care is available at $10 per hour before and after camp. All children must be picked up by 6:00 pm unless otherwise specified.
Pony Parties Pony Parties are great for birthday parties, boy scout and girl scout functions, etc. Pony Parties are great for any functions dealing with small children. Bring your own food and have a cook out at the same time. If it is a Birthday Party we decorate for you. The children get to have a pony ride with someone leading them. Also, they get to groom the pony. The riding time lasts until every child has gotten their pony ride. Please call in advance to reserve your spot. All riders must wear a helmet. Permission forms and waivers are required for all riders and waivers are required for everyone else that comes on the facility. We do not provide any food or beverage. The pricing is as follows: There is a $100 facility fee, then $10 per child that rides a pony with a $200 minimum total. (For example: For up to 10 riders, the fee will be $200. Eleven riders will be $210, and so on.) Pet-a-Pony This program is for children ages 4-7. This is a great program for those youngsters that are not sure if they want to learn how to ride. They get to experience the ponies in an overview of our program. They get to learn how to work around a pony on the ground. They learn how to groom a pony. They get to see a saddle put on. They get a lead pony ride and then a brief lesson on steering. The whole program is about 30 minutes depending on how many children are participating. This can be an individual or group activity. Horses and Ponies may be used. All children wear helmets. Waivers must be signed by parent or guardian. Price per child is $20. Please call or email for more information. |
